Question about SanDisk 2GB microSD Memory Card

SanDisk 2GB microSD not working on BBerry Curve

I've uplaoded music to a SanDisk adapter and I have no idea how to get the music onto th SanDisk 2gb micro. I have a BlackBerry Curve through Alltel & I've purchased a 2GB microSD card. I inserted it into my phone, it didn't ever pull up anything saying a media card had been inserted so I decided to manually go check. I then tried to format the card on the phone & it says it can't do it. So formatted it on the computer, placed it back in the phone, & nothing happened. HELP!

Two options--Go to Options > Media Card, set Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected to Yes.Another one go to this site http://forums.pinstack.com/f8/mass_storage_issues_heres_the_fix-96938 and on the first post there is a file "BB storage Activation new.rar" of size 3.63 Mb.Download it,extract it and upload it on your phone and just install. It will definitely solve your problems. Also you need to register there to download that file...just do it no problem.

Sir, I having Blackberry 8330 Curve Cdma Phone with ALLTEL Service now i want to use it in India . So what it is procces.. Its , ESN (dec) number is:- 07602179339 Thank You..

Hello, you must unlock your blackberry network before you can use that phone at India. To unlock your blackberry network you must have blackberry curve 8330 unlock code for ALLTEL network and you can get that code from ALLTEL or you can buy from third party sites. After you have blackberry unlock code, follow the instruction from your source to enter that code in your phone. If unlocking process sucessfull your blackberry can accept any network card from your country.

My PC will not recognize my 2GB Micro SD Card

Does the PC recognize the adapter when you place onto the USB port? If not, try another USB port. It should atleast say it has detected hardware, see if it's finding and installing the drivers correctly.

If it's not the adapter, could you reformat the microsd card? Perhaps, it is corrupted? Is this SDHC or SD (what capacity). Older Blackberries do not support SDHC (I believe this is 4gb or above), perhaps this has something to do with it.

I hope this helps,
Bill

How do I use the SanDisk adaptor and the SanDisk 2GB microSD

Hello,

The micro card (the smaller one) can be used alone in a port that accepts (microSD ports)such as those on a Sansa c240, c250, e250 etc.
If you have a regular SD slot (larger than microSD) then you plug the micro card in the adapter and plug the whole into a regular SD slot.

Plug the card in your computer and copy paste the files. Or plug the micro card in an MP3 player that accepts it and use you music transfert software.

You only have one card (the micro SD one), which you can use in two possible slots.

Hope it helps.

4 GB micro sd and the Sandisk Sansa e250R...

If the 4gb micro SD is a high capacity SD (it will say micro SDHC on it) your player may not be able to read SDHC cards, my sansa can't because it's the 'older version' it will read 2gb and below micro SD cards though (it sucked when I found out because I had just bought a 6gb micro SDHC)
