Fuse location 1999 to 2002

The high current fuse box is located in the engine compartment next to the battery. Remove cover & the fuse for the wiper motor is fuse number 6 & is a 30 amp fuse. If you go to myford.com and enter your vin number you can download a user manual for your vehicle. Hope this helps.

Looking for location of the brake light fuse.

Since you don't say what you are working on, best guess is main fuse panel under dash.

2006 pontiac vibe brake light

All the lights stopping at the same time is not likely a fuse, it would be the brake light switch, the brake light switch is over the brake pedal near top of brake pedal arm under the dash. To test take a 12 volt test light ($5.00 at any auto parts store) and see if both side of the switch light the test light when the brake pedal is pushed, one side is hot with 12 volts without pushing the brake pedal down. The fuse location is in the owners manual but I am 99% sure that isn't the problem.

Hell i just bought a chevy cavlier and my back break light is out...the light its self is on...its just the break light when pressed...

you don`t say if its both or just one brake light out.you say the light itself is on but not if you mean tail light or what.the tail lights use a different filament in the bulb than the signal light which is the same filament that the brake light uses.if the signal light work on the rear then the bulbs are good,if just one side works then the bulb is no good on the side that doesn`t work.if the signal lights work but neither brake light works then you need to check the fuses in the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side.if the fuses are good then it will be either a bad wire at the brake switch or a bad brake light switch, this is located on the brake pedal lever under the dash.

Cant get my 1993 nissan altima out of park

is your battery dead? turn your headlights on. do they work? if not, then the battery is dead. your car will not come out of park unless the brake lights come on. if the batterys dead, the brake lights will not come on. try a boost from another car. another solution, brake light fuse is blown.look under the dash or on driverside dash panel for fuse panel. look for a brake kight fuse that's blown. have you tryed applying the brake pedal with car off to see if the brake lights come on?hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

Cant find the fuse for my brake lights on my 2002 ford explorer

if the third brake light works you will probably need a brake on off switch. the fuse panels on that truck are under the dash near the steering column and under the hood in the power distribution box. both of these panels are identified in the owners manuel.

be sure to check the bulbs, usually behind a panel in the boot, twist and turn, push and pull, give a go until the bulb comes out, get someone to press on the foot pedal, and reseat the bulb to see if it glows, look at the fillament in the bulb, just like a household bulb, no filament no glow, watch for the heat of the bulb.

look in under the dash on drivers side, in glovebox, passenger side panel(under dash), under bonnet is an array of fuses and the like, it should say brake or something similar.it won't be far from engine bay or front.

I don't know what the fuse looks like but no matter what fuse type it is you can tell if it is good or not by looking thru the clear panel at the little wire inside if it is broken then it's no good, another place to check is the foot pedal maybe the switch that activates the lights is broken? press the switch in and out, you'll see it right behind the brake pedal, the brake pedal actuates the switch when you depress the pedal. make sure someone is watching the brake lights.

short of buying a car manual or going to the shop but i hope it helps.

ABS light flashes on dash

As far as the dome lights and the fuse they run on or where they are located I do not know. I would say check under the driver instrument panel, or under the hood on the left side ( as you are looking at it). It is highly likely that the lights run on one circuit. Your anti lock brake light is another matter altogether. When that light comes on it is because the sensor beside the brake has indicated an irregularity with the brakes that could impact braking performance in the event of a sudden stop. Most brake shops do a free brake check so if you are a do it yourselfer then you can discover the problem with that option
