91 Dodge Dakota, truck starts fine. No horn or lights. Fuses checked and were OK. Please Help.

Check voltage and ground for any component you are missing? Any applicable fuses, check for voltage at the fuse circuit, use a testlight to check for voltage. Of course ground is important also for the particular system.

I'm not sure what your question or need is. The best that I can do is surmise that you want to know what to check or where to start. The first place to check is the fuse box. Inside the fuse box GM makes it easy to identify fuses and relays. Check for a blown horn fuse or a damaged horn relay. If the fuse and relay are fine then move to the engine compartment. have another person there to help you and a good test-light ready, in hand. Open the hood and connect your test-light to the negative battery terminal. locate the horn between the radiator and the front grill. Unplug the horn and test each terminal. this is where your friend will come in. While you touch the test-light to the terminals (one at a time) your helper will be sitting inside the car, holding the horn button in. If the light comes on then tell your helper to relax and you will disconnect your test-light from the negative terminal and reconnect it to the positive terminal. Now touch your test-light to the other terminal. If the light illuminates then you have confirmed that your horn is defective and needs to be replaced. If any of the above tests failed then further diagnostics will be needed. It could be suspected that wiring is damaged somewhere or something behind the horn button has failed. I hope this helps, good luck.

My horn on my 1992 mazda B2600 does not work

If you have a test light, unplug the single wire that's plugged into the horn. Connect your test light clip to a good ground such as the engine block or even the battery. Then insert the point of the test light into the terminal of the wire that you unhooked from the horn.Have someone push the horn button and if the test light lights, you do have power to the horn. If it doesn't light, you might check the horn relay. Sorry, I can't tell you where it is in your Mazda though. If the test light did light up when the horn button was pushed, then I would suspect that it isn't grounded properly, or, the horn is defective. Try unbolting the horn and sanding off the rust that formed between the horn and where it mounts. Typically, horns are mounted to the vehicle's frame.

I own a 1993 Acura Legend LS and when i push the horn buttons on the wheel the horn does not sound. The horn itself works when i test it with the battery. i allready pulled the steering colum off and there...

There is a fuse to the horn. If you have the owners manual, it will tell you where the norn fuse is. If you don't have a manual, then take a test light that you can buy at any parts store, and test each side of each fuse. They have a test point on the fuses. The fuse will light up on one side of the fuse, but the other side will be dead. All of the fuses won't light the light. Because some fuses are not powered unless the engine is running. But the horn fuse will light up with the key in the off position.

check under the hood in the fuse/relay box for a blown fuse or relay. also there is another fuse panel under the dash next to the steering column. when u take the cover off the fuse/relay box under the hood look inside the lid and it will tell u which fuse/relay controls the cruise/horn/etc. hope this will help you!!!!
