Question about GE 25.2 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Dispenser TFX25ARBWW
In the freezer side of our GE Refrigerator we keep getting ice on the floor of the freezer and once it gets so high it starts dribbling onto the floor so we always have a puddle of water on the floor. We have tried completely defrosting the freezer (turning the whole thing off) so if the tube in the back of the bottom on the freezer was clogged with ice could thaw but that didn't help. We don't see any water dripping anywhere in the freezer so we can't figure out where the water is coming from.
Hi: The tube in the back of the freezer is not clogged with ice. It is most likely clogged with mold below the freezer section just above the warm tray where the defrost water evaporates. Also a pea or other piece of debris could have gotten in there. Do your thawing again and pour some clorox water through it and use a pipe cleaner if it's a tough clog. I hope this helps, Jeff
