Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
New C4400, windows XP, worked for one print then changed location of power cable and the printer will not turn. green light is on in the converter box but printer itself will not light up. Less than one day old so it goes back if there is not a simple solution.
Due to loosely inserted Power Cable into the Printer Printer or Power Supply would have Failed because of sparking at the time of inserting the power Cable.

go to Start, Settings, Control panel, printers and faxes is your printer there? is there a checkmark? no, then right click and set as default, put your mouse over it does it say Ready? no, then change cable.
send test page, it should print, if not the USB or Parrallel input of your printer has a problem.
