Problem Description: Failure moving Service Station
Corrective action: Try the following:
1. Switch the power off from the back of the product and disconnect the power cord. Check
the Primer Tubes. Reconnect the power cord and power on the product.
2. Make sure that the Service Station path is clear. Remove any visible obstacles (screws,
plastic parts, etc.) restricting the movement of the Service Station.
3. If the carriage has stopped over the service station, on the right side of the product, check
that the cutter is not activated. The cutter may be blocking the carriage over the service

Some products require time to turn on. These products might or might not give feedback in the form of blinking light(s). Wait a minute for the power light to turn on before proceeding to the solution.If your product does not respond when you try to print, press any button on the product to wake it from power save mode. Wait for the product to initialize, and then try to print again.
Try the following solutions in the order presented to resolve the issue. When one of the solutions resolves the issue, there is no need to continue troubleshooting.Solution one: Press and quickly release the Power button Press and quickly release the Power button (c01602202.gif ) to start a Power On/Off cycle. Do not hold down the button Figure 1: Press and quickly release the Power button If you press and hold the Power button too long, the product might turn on and then off without restarting. If this happens, press and quickly release the Power button (c01602202.gif ) again.If these steps resolved the issue , you do not need to continue troubleshooting.If the issue persists , continue to the next solution Solution two: Check the electrical connections and outlet Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet, or the power strip or surge suppressor Carefully inspect the power cord for visible damage.If the power cord or power module shows any damage, contact HP to replace the power supply. Tread mill light up but dont run

Dear Sir:
Hello I hope everything is o.k
I will help you , please try to do the following:
1)Plese turn off the power cord.
2) With a DVOM Digital Voltimeter, inspection for Continuity wires(Power Cord).
3) Reset the circuit breaker from the equipment.try again
4) Check if some wires is loose, re-solder .
5) Check with the DVOM,the primary winding for transformer, and secondary winding and see if there voltages are o.k . Smell and SEE, if some component around the transforme(power supply) like capacitor, resistor, diode, transistor are burn, or open, or shorcircuit. Replace.
6) Inspection the button of Start, check continuity , clean contact with some spray special for clean contact (Radio Shack).
7)Inspeccion the relais or contactor, if are closing and clean the contact.
8) Finally PCB faulty and Replace.

There are three possible reasons why your computer is experiencing this power problem. What you need to do is to isolate the component that's causing it.

These are the parts which should be checked:
1. Power supply
2. Battery
3. Motherboard of the laptop.

Here's the procedure that you have to follow:

Remove the battery from the computer.

2. Power the computer up with the power cord only without the battery on it.

3. Check if it works perfectly without any problems even if the battery is out. If it works, then, the battery needs to be replaced. (Note: Batteries are disposable parts. They usually die after 2 years of usage depending on how you use it.)

4.If no go even without the battery on it, check the ac adapter or cord if there's a light lit on the box of the cord. If no lights on it, double check the connection. If connections seem ok but no power, then, replace the power cord.

5. If power cord seem fine, check the hole in the computer where you plug in the cord. What you need to check is if there are any sign of damages. Wiggle the cord and see if there are lights lit in the laptop.

There are only certain items that will not power up a machine. 1. The power supply itself could be gone. 2. Check your ram. 3. Your hard drive. In most cases it is the power supply. Take out the power supply from the machine and plug it in to a wall socket. If it starts that it is not the power supply. If it doesn't start replace the power supply.

Hello, I will try my best to help you, ok? I need to ask you a couple of questions so I can understand your situation more clearly ok?
1) Do you have your power cord plugged into a Power Strip or surge protector? If so, check and make sure that the switch is ON and/or the surge protector button has'nt been tripped.
2) Is there any sign of power to the Power Supply Box that your power cord is plugged into? (ie: led light, or sound of the fan inside of the Power Supply Box?)
3) Is the outlet that you are connected to live with power? (try plugging a lamp into the socket to make sure)

After you have ruled out the above possibilities, let me know, and we will go from there, ok?

I have no power to the printer to my canon pixma mp780. why? Saw another on E-bay with same problem. Cord is Ok - checked it w/ meter.

This is what the service manual says:
(1) Check the power cord
(2) Check the connection between
the SPCNT board (JPSU1) and
power supply unit.
(3) Replace the power supply unit.

this sounds like a low voltage power supply issue. your low voltage is soley for powering up the machine
