Import contacts from E2 to mobile phone

I have a Tungsten E2 with a great deal of contacts. I have a Motorola "Flip phone" and I'd like to export the contacts from my Palm to my mobile. My mobile is a V180.

If the phone is AT&T or T-mobile it will have a sim card. They olny hold 250 contacts. If you have a different carrier-no sim. you might be able to sync with a computer, but finding a data cable for the v180 could be hard..

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How can i import contacts from another phone using no internet and no sim. i have all my contacts saved on my memory card. My old phone is HTC Wildfire and the new one is Motorola defy.

You see, I'm running Gingerbread 2.3.4 on my Defy for some time now, and I'm sorry for not being able to remember how it is done under Eclair or Froyo, but in Gingerbread, the Contacts application is a tab on the dialer one. Anyway, in the Contacts tab, if I go to 'Menu > Manage contacts', there are settings for exporting/importing contacts to/from the SD card. When exporting, a vcf file is generated in the SD card. When importing, a vcf is searched. So, for compatibility matters, I think you should use the Wildfire to export all your contacts, remove the SD card from the Wildfire, insert it into the Defy, and import your contacts from that file.
Hope it works for you.
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you out any further.
Regards, Carlos

I got the motorola cliq and transfered my SIM card into my phone. For some reason, only two of my contacts transferred over, the rest are facebook friends. I went under ALL CONTACTS, TMOBILE CONTACT,...

I work at the T-Mobile Corporate store, ive seen this many times with customers. What happened is that your contacts are stored onto your old phones memory because that's the default save location. You can take it to the nearest Tmobile store and they will move the contacts from your old phone to your sim card then to your cliq.

Transfer contacts and calendar from Palm to iPhone and iCal

The best way is to transfer the Calendar and Contacts to Outlook. The iPhone can then be synced with Outlook.

Unfortunately, tasks and memos do not transfer. You will need to find other 3rd party apps that are supported on the iPhone and transfer your data to them.

Two examples are:

1. Evernote - This is good for memo. You can export your memos and then import them into Evernote. unfortunately, when I did this, it was a bit tricky. I even had to write a little PERL script to create the format that it wanted.

2. RemembertheMilk - this is a todo application

First thing what is your new phone you using now?
If still the same palm operating system, what you need to do is just 1.export your contact from your palm desktop. After that you create a new ac for your palm desktop then import the file you export just now to the palm desktop again. If you are using windows mobile repeat the number 1.then go to your active sync user ac and import from the file you export just now.

Move contacts from Tungsten E2 to iPhone

If the Tungsten has a SIM card you can save the contacts to that, put that in the iPhone and go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars> Import SIM Contacts. If that isn't a option you may be able to export as VCards and import them into Address Book if you use a Mac. I'm not familiar with a way to do this on a PC. Anyone else have a solution?
