Question about Sony Handycam CCD-TRV37 Camcorder
The video was there, I went to finalize the DVD and at the end of the finalizing process, the screen came up with Data Error. Now I do not know what to do. Have I lost my video. Is there another way to finalize that will allow the raw footage to be saved as a movie?
I had similar problem few years ago, had to send it to mini dvd recovery company in NY, I believe company that I used was www.minidvdrepair.com not sure if they are still around though.

Try to use sony discs they are already formatted for sony video cams. less likely to getting errors. try putting it in a cpu and finallize from its burner drive. if not basically you have lost all the footage.
