Question about Canon PIXMA iP8500 InkJet Photo Printer
My 6C cartrigde will not print. Even if I replace with another cartridge or swap the 6C with the 6PC, that cartridge space will not print. If I do a print test, that space is blank... no color at all.
Replace print head by following manufacturer's instructions. These instructions can be found on-line at www.canon.usa.com under support for your particular printer. Enter "removing print head" into the search box.
Try removing your present print head and cleaning the electrical connections with soft brush or clean microfiber cloth (lens cleaner cloth for glasses). Replace your old head and see if this solves the problem. If not, you probably need to order a new print head from Canon, or you may decide it is better to just buy a new printer because of the price.
