HOW TO ENTER SERVICE MODE ON LJ 4730 - Minolta DiALTA Di183 Copier

Anyone with information on how to reset the Fuser page count without chanigng the fuser on HP 4730 MFP? The fuser in the unit is in very good condition and replacements are not cheap. Any help would be much appreciated.

CREATIVE SOUND CARD CT 4730 if you do not have a sound card driver try use the windows xp service pack 2 installer go to device manager right click and update the driver details. then restart your pc.

I am very sorry to have to be the bear of bad news. Usually doing a failed firmware update (or wrong firmware version) you have to return to factory or have a local computer printer shop that deals in HP printers repair this firmware mixup. There is sometimes a firmware recovery mode that can help however You would have to contact HP and ask them how to get into firmware recovery mode.

Please change command mode on dvd recorder remote as it has 3 modes, dvd-1, dvd-2 and dvd-3. command mode switch is located at bottom part of remote.
DVD Recorder default command mode is DVD-3

Hi. I actually had to reset the waste ink volume counter on my F60 and found a solution posted by NerdRUs that helped me. So I copied and pasted it below:

Resetting the Waste Ink Volume Counter
1) Enter SERVICE MODE.---
By pressing Menu-Copy-#
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

Check that the firewall either windows or other is not active and not allowing you to install drivers. Also if your computer is in user mode and does not have the right to install drivers login as administrator mode and install drivers through there.

Once deactivated firewall install new drivers should be OK then.
