Question about Hunter Ceiling Fan Remote Transmitter 85095-01
Part no. 85095-01. Remote worked for two years and this past weekend it stopped working. We replaced the battery and it worked again, but then stopped. What is the up/down delta button above the "remote light" for? Light/fan is in sunroom which can get hot, but it lasted two years with no problem. p.s. light/fan will not work without remote.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to help.
There is a battery in the hand held remote and another battery in the receiver which gets tucked into the ceiling mount cover. Remove the ceiling cover and you will see the battery there, usually a 12 volt battery.
The upp/down slide is a dimmer.
In the event that changing the batteries doesn't solve your problems, Hunter makes replacement remote sets, available at Home Depot, lowes, etc and usually around twenty dollars.
