The easy way is to check your phone's sound profile and check if vibrations are on. The hard way, witch may result after mallitious aplications instaled on your phone , is to upgrade the software/firmware...
ok i dont know if this solves the problem for good, but i do know that it solves temperately. I went to phone settings and set the ring tone profile to vibrate. then i kept pressing the play button until the squeaking went away. It seems as though once the little moter in the phone goes at a constant speed it stops squeeking. the squeaking stops for a good while and is better than nothing. Someone tell me if this works for them. thanks ;]
Mmm well I don't know if its just a problem with the peice that vibrates for you, but I know that my phone did the same. You can just go into the vibrate settings under the ring type, and edit the vibrate type all to a sound, and then back to a vibrate, and that should fix it. If not it could be internal.
The vibrate function of a phone is just a simple motor that pulses back and forth, creating a vibration. Just like any other motor, these can burn out. If the phone is still under warranty, you should be able to get it replaced. If not, an electronics repair shop may be able to fix it, but depending on parts and labor, you may be better off buying a new phone.
you need to sync your phone with your computer then do a wipe of handheld. this will erase everything but since you have synced you can go and restore from the computer. make sure you back up to computer first. if this does not fix it it needs to be replaced thru warranty or insurance.
Go to "Prefs" Under the system category. then go to Sound % Alerts. from the drop down menu at the top choose "Phone" as the application you would like to adjust. then make sure the volume is set to something other than "Off" you can also set if it vibrates or not here.
