Have you tried the following?
Start/printers and faxes/ double click on the printer/right click when it opens/select delete  all[or prgressively delete each job on the file.]

take out all the print jobs from the printer by control panel and the printer section. Right click on the printer that you have a problem and delete all print jobs. Close the printer and the computer. Make sure all the cables are connected good. Then restart the printer and computer you should be fine.

I cannot delete a print job, it just states that

Part of the print job may be in the printer's memory and part may be in the PC's memory.

Rebooting the printer will remove the portion in the printer, but if there's still some in the PC' sit will just start to "refill" the printer when it comes back online.

Go into your Printers folder (Start > Settings > Printers -or- Start > Printers) to find your HP and open it. Now you're looking at the print queue. If there are any print jobs, there, delete them.

Now reboot your PC and your printer together. Power them both down fully (Start > Shut Down > Shut Down), then power them both up. Make sure they're off and not just in sleep - low power mode. When you're back online, any stuck print jobs should be gone.

When i give the command to print , it doesnot

Go to the Control Panel>Printer and Faxes>Double click on "HP Officejet 5610" and check that is any pending jobs or not in queue.

If yes then delete all of them and then give the print command.

If the deleting will not happend then shutdown your pc and on it after 2 min and then try to print.

If this is not helpful then :
1) Check all the cable of printer that it is attached properly or not.
2) Remove the printer driver and restart your machine and than install the fresh copy of your printer driver.
