1) Loose bearing/bushing in distributor body. (The shaft that the rotor screws down to, goes through a bearing, or bushing, in the distributor casting)
See if you get excessive axial run-out of this shaft, by trying to move the rotor side to side, (Front to Rear, also)
.005 deviation is too loose, (Five thousandths) If you can feel, or see any perceptible movement, side to side, it is too much.
2) What spark plugs are you running? Split Fire, or similar, can put too much resistance back to the rotor button. This can burn it. (Can also burn holes in your pistons eventually)
Good day, Before proceeding there are a lot of buttons and cover emblems that cover screw holes. Remove by prying off with a small screw driver as needed. As well, remove all food etc. As well, keep track of all bushing and shims holding the door hinges in place.
1. With the top door closed, remove the top bracket. Open the door with both hands, open approx. 1 foot and lift off. 2. Remove the middle bracket, and remove bottom door as in step one. 3. Remove and reinstall handles on the opposite side of each door. 4. The bottom support bracket must be removed, and remounted on the opposite side, with the pin sticking up. 5. Reinstall in reverse order using bushing and shims as needed to assure correct alignment.
hi cody
im dave
the problem with your car is right there on the front of the hood. It is a little red and silver emblem that says "Saturn"
Saturn has had numerous consumer complaints relating to their crappy trannys and will do nothing to help consumers.
there is a plastic bushing on the shift linkage that is prone to breaking and saturn will not sell the part without the whole shift linkage kit at a cost of a few hundred dollars. there is however an individual selling the bushing on ebay. try http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/saturn-shifter-
hope this helps because GM/Saturn wont.they will tell you you need a whole new transmission at a cost of $6000.

The Underwriter Laboratories of Canada are an offshoot of the Underwriters Labs of the U.S. They test consumer products for safety. The Procom space heater is advertised as a vent free heater fired with propane. As it is vent free I doubt you can convert it into a vent type appliance. When propane burns, it produces carbon dioxide and water vapor. It must be used with adequate ventilation for combustion. It consumes oxygen to burn. If burning it without ventilation it lowers the amount of oxygen in your room creating a hazard to human life. this is what kills. Perhaps the ULC standards are more stringent then the US but I suppose if the unit has the United States UL emblem, using it in Canada, you may need a direction from your local extension service before you can use it.
