Question about Car Audio & Video
I am try to put a sony xplod cdx-gt230 in to a mercury mystiquel
The easiest way to wire a deck into these newer cars even semi-newer cars is just to go to your local stereo shop and get the adapter that fits your vehicle and the wires are all labeled to connect to the deck-and it only costs 15 -20 bucks at most- some fords/mercuries have the premium jbl system and if thats the case youll need to run your own wires and bypass the factory amps/sub package and probably have to run a special antenna adapter as well- hopefully its not all that complicated though- had that problem in an explorer though just thought id pass that on to you in case it comes down to it just so you wont think someones trying to pull your leg when they tell you "this is what you need and its going to be X amount of dollars, because sometimes it takes a little more than usual.Good luck
