Question about Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer Projectpro Spray Nozzle
I have a B&S 4.5 hp engine on my 2200 psi pressure washer. Will start right up if pump primer bulb but will not stay running. Throttle lever is in correct position. Sat all winter but was started in fall to run Stay-bil through it.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

your not missing anything, check the pump, they tend to go bad over time and may need replacing. The pump provides the pressure as well as the suction for the whole process, pulling water from the hose or tank and pushing it forcefully through the pressure washer line. If the motor is running and you have the water going through the line and to the pump, and no water is coming out, my guess would be the pump.

SOURCE: Engine wont stay running
It is a diaphram carb. Doe's the primer **** straight gas or does it have air bubbles in it? If it has bubbles in it then it is a leak in the fuel line.
If not then Unhook the intake fuel line and pump the bulb until all of the gas is out of it. Then pour the gas out of the tank and rinse it out with new gas. Pour in new gas and it should be ok.
