My Bissell P:rolneat will not dispense water through the floor unit or the wand.

Check the filters. Flow Indicator: Turn Indicator cap counter-clockwise, remove rotor, next remove filter. Clean the filter and replace items in reverse order. Additionally, now is a good time to clean the Lint Filter on the tank cap. These filters are recommended to be cleaned after each use. Hope that helps, if not Bissell Consumer Care can be reached at 1-800-237-7691.

How do I clean the filter

The foam filter can be hand washed, squeezed and them dried.
The pleated filter really never seems to loose it stall smell after cleaning. It's best to tap it against the hard ground to free the dirt.
Washing it can cause odors.

I misplaced manual for Bissell Bagless Cleanview II, nothing being picked up in the plastic bin, where to I look for clog other than bottom of hose near bottom plate please?

Recline the vacuum fully to the floor when looking for clogs in the lower hose. You can run a broom stick through the upper hose to remove any clog. Also, check the brush to make sure there is no obstruction. Lastly, make sure all 3 filters are clean and clear because if they are dirty that can restrict air flow drastically. I recently cleaned all the washable filters in my Bissell Cleanview 11 vacuum cleaner and now the unit smells when it is in use. Can you tell me why?

They have mildewed while sitting...replace all the filters and place a couple drops of Citronella essential oil on each NEW filter element...clean after EVERY vacuuming using another vacuum and crevice tool. Good Luck

Hose not picking up

Hi MightyHeidi,

About once every 9 months to a year, I have to take the hole Cleanview apart and thoroughly clean filters and get all the trash and string from the roller Brush.  I was the cleanview buckets out and rinse the filters untill i get no more mud flowing.  ThenI let it dry for a day or two. Put it all back together.  About once every 3 years, you may want to do a full disassembly to get to the Check valve at the intake of the Blower Motor.  i found mine stuck open and causing me to loose vacuum.
