Please restart your phone. After restarting, it will ask do you want to continue in offline mode, select NO. This should solve your problem. Make sure you have SIM card inserted in your phone.
try to change your sim card if no luck try to switch o\off then after 30 seconds switch on...if still no luck enter *#7370# then enter your locked code
when you insert sim in your phone after using it offline,it should ask you if you want to continue using your phone in offline mode...select NO..Otherwise your phone cannot detect the sim card..clean sim terminals..if problem persists check and reheat sim filter IC..the crystal one, near the sim terminals itself..if all fails then UPP (CPU) or software problem..
turn off handset then take battery out then take sim card out then reinsert sim and battery then turn on the handset, it will prompt you saying somthing like this "Continue to use offline mode?" it will say "yes" and "no" in both corners you need to press "no" then wait for the phone to fully become functional and you should get your operator working!
It would appear that the problem lie with the SIM card - my phone could no longer read the SIM and therefore only the offline mode was available. I tried my SIM in a different phone and it couldn't be read either. I replaced my SIM with a pay-as-you-go SIM and the phone was working perfectly well again.
I will be speaking to O2 to identify the problem with my SIM.
where did you bought your phone? if you bought it from a telecom's promo it means that your phone is locked to a single network provided only. you can ask a technician to have your phone OPENLINE for you to be able to use any kinds of sims.
if it's not the case, check the slot for sim and make sure that the sim is properly placed. restart it without the sim and then restart again but now with the sim.
