Question about Belkin N1 Wireless USB 2.0 Network Adapter (S6359026)
Hi I recently had a Belkin wireless g usb adapter but it broke so I bought a Belkin N 150 wireless adapter had problems installing and had to delete the old files off and reinstall everything it worked for a week and now quit. I have uninstalled everything and when I try to reinstall it gets to the very end of the installation prog. and says plug in your usb adapter and wont read it. And windows xp with sp2 says it doesnt recognize the device, when I open device manager it says no drivers are installed. I've went to Belkin.com and downloaded their software and drivers the software installs but is shadowed where I need to list my router and wont let me put it on their. I don't know if this info matters but I have a Dell Inspiron 5100 and I don't think I have a wireless internet card installed so I can't think of what the problem could be, and from time to time my router blinks wireless like it is picking it up. Please Help!
First of all you have a wireless "N" adaptor running on a router set for 802.11g. You need to have the same router as the adaptor, "N".
