Every thing seems to be operating but just not getting air through the vents. Could it be freezing up to not let air through?

I have a uaka-018jaz outside Central air unit. The other day the unit is still running but nothing is blowing out of the vent inside house in floor. The condenser or coils in the vent frosted

First you have to make sure the blower motor is running. That is the fan motor on the indoor unit. If the fan inside is running and the filter is clean you are likely low on refrigerant. If the indoor fan is not running this would be the reason for the frost. If the unit is iced up turn the system to off and the fan to on on the tstat. This will help defrost the coil. Good Luck.

Goodman central air conditioning. Little air is coming from the vents in the house and the air that is coming out isnt very cold

have the central unit blower/fan cleaned as they block up from dust and other particles so that they eventually look like logs and do not move air like they should. Have the unit gas pressure tested for correct amount of gas

A/c blower turns slow and makes puffing sound. bryant 80% avac system.little cold air from vents

Hello, replace the capacitor as when there are storms sometimes they can cause a voltage spike and damage the capacitor. The capcitor will be a round or oval metal looking can next to the motor. When the blower motor runs slow the coil can start to freeze due to lack of airflow and this is why little air is coming out of the vents. If the capacitor does solve the problem then the motor will have to be replaced.

I live in an apartment that has Airtemp central air. The unit blower runs but the air is barely cool. Maintenance sys there is nothing wrong with the unit. What could cause this problem?

air temp should drop 15-20 F across the a/c coil a rule of thumb i use is air temp out of the vents 10-15 F less than room temp on thermostat if the air out of the vents isnt that cold the a/c is either leaking and undercharged or return air temps are to high. is the inside unit in an attic? return leakage in this situation can cause high supply air temps but look like every thing is ok when pressures are checked at the outside unit

Air condtioning unit

check capicitor on motor, fan motor bearings may be locking up when they get hot then when cooled the motor comes back on. Then you must replace fan motor.

Car does not blow air.

For starters, do you hear the blower motor running when you turn the heat on? If it does blow is there any airflow coming from your air vents? If the blower motor runs and there is air flow from the vents there are a few other tiems to check. Veriiffy that the coolant is full, low coolant level will effect the flow of coolant to the heater core. If coolant is full you may have a clogged heater core, or one of the blend doors ( they regulate air flow between the A/C evaperator and your heater core) may be malfunctioning or the control head(temp control) is malfntioning.

No air flow upstairs

Cold air is denser than hot air, so is harder to move. All vents have some mechanism to regulate flow, so close all of the downstairs vents. Check to see if your furnace fan motor has more than one speed, & set it on maximum. Keeping the fan on all the time will help as well. If all else fails, you may need a more powerful fan motor.
