Question about Teledyne Laars Laars Lx Pool Heater / 400,000 Btu / Propane Gas
We have a Laars LX400P Heater for our pool. It has been working fine but now the high limit switch has come on. There is a little bit of corrosion on the inside of the heater when you take off the panel. Any suggestions???
Check up in the top of heater some come with resetable fusible links reset if possible or replace if heater is sooting check gas pressure if not enough pressure heater will overheat and trip that component clean out heat exchange if lower fusible link bad you might need a chimney stack

This indicator normally means that your water temperature in the pool heater exceeds the internal limit. The corrosion should not be causing this problem. Since the high temperatures can be dangerous, you will probably have to contact a pool professional to service the machine.
