DWC283BLS Wine Cooler running hot, won't cool properly

Hi,

YOU MIGHT HAVE A FAULTY COMPRESSOR (MOTOR) OR A GAS LEAK.LET ME NO IF YOU NEED FUTHER ASSISTANCE ALSO THE VENTALATION COULD CAUSE IT AS YOU SAY THAT IT IS BUILT INTO THE CABINITS SO REMOVE IT

OR

If the motor are running the gas level are too low . if the motor are not running check the thermostat. if there are power by the motor and stil not running then it is the motor

OR

Does the compressor run or shut off when it gets to 55 &57? Leave unplugged over night and try again..

Also a dusty coils could cause the problem . its very important to keep the coils clean

yes it thermostat problem for sure.its fairly simple to replace, just unplug the wine cooler then take the thermostat knob off, then unmount the thermostat and put the wires on the new one as they can off the old one. click this link directly.in this model and brand is different but the system of replacing the thermostat is exactly the same.
