Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router

Kicks in and out the internet all the time.

I have a Linksys Dual-Band wireless WUSB600N and my problem is that keep kicking me out of the internet. connection is slow then kicks me out and have to refresh to be able to get online again. Please help

    Are you connecting your computer to the router with an Ethernet cable, or wirelessly? Try the other method.



    Also, try connecting your computer directly to your ADSL-modem (or cable-modem), bypassing the router. Does it work faster?



    Have you tried a different Ethernet cable between your modem and your router?

Try to see if your firewall is bloking your router,if so change the firewall to allow your router to access the internet

My linksys wusb600n willconnect to my neighbors router but not mine


Try changing the channel number in the router settings and the wusb600n.
Set them both to the same number. It should tell how in the manual, If you don't have the manual for the wusb600n.it's here: Manual.

well , first of all what is the model number of your computer ? does your computer facilitate WiFi ?
if not you have to buy a USB WiFi adapter , usally costs about $40-$60 -- buy a CISCO Linksys dual band wireless USB adapter p/n WUSB600N

Linksys wusb600n on windows 7


WUSB600N version 2 will work with Win 7 using the Win Vista drivers.

You may refer to this link for compatible devices that work with Win 7.

You may also use the Win 7 driver - Ver.3.1.0.1.0 (32-bit, 64-bit).

Here is the link for the instructions to manually install the drivers.

You can check the compatible devices that work with Windows 7. Here is the link.

If the model of your adapter is WUSB600N v2, then it will work with Windows 7 using the Windows Vista driver.
