My lenova laptop BMR is compressed, what's the solution for it?

The Windows operating system allows you to compress the files on your drive to conserve disk space. In some situations, this compression process will compress files required for the operating system to boot. Files that are compressed must be decompressed prior to execution. Since the operating system has not loaded, boot files cannot yet be decompressed. In this case, the operating system will fail to load and a "BootMgr is compressed" message will appear. An easy way around this problem is to boot from the Windows DVD, and use the provided interface to access your drive properties and decompress it.

Turn on the computer, and insert your Windows DVD. Press a random key on your keyboard once you see the "Press any key..." message. This interrupts booting from the hard drive and forces a boot from the Windows DVD. Click the "Next" button at the bottom of the Windows 7 dialog, and then click the "Repair your Computer" link Below. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/What-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7 http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa364219(v=vs.85).aspx File Compression and Decompression Select the "Load Drivers" button at the bottom of the "System Recovery Options" dialog, and click the "OK" button on the "Add Drivers" dialog. This opens a file browser on your screen. Click the "Computer" icon, which is located on the left hand side of the screen. This displays an icon for your disk drive. Right-click your hard drive, and click "Properties. " This opens a Local Disk Properties dialog. Click to deselect the "Compress this drive..." option at the bottom, and then click the "Apply" button. Select the "X" icon to close the file browser window. This takes you back to the Install Windows dialog. Press the "X" icon at the corner of the Install Windows dialog. This opens a cancellation dialog. Select the "Yes" button on this dialog to restart your computer. Hope this helps

Why does my acer asprie 5742 keep clearing my cache?

METHOD 1: Reset Corrupt Thumbnail Cache Folder
First of all try to reset thumbnail cache folder so that it starts storing thumbnail cache files from scratch.
1. Press Win+R keys together to launch RUN dialog box, then type following string in RUN box and press Enter:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
Replace Username with your correct Windows user account name.
If the above trick doesn't work for you. Type appdata in RUN dialog box and press Enter. It'll open AppData folder. Now go to "Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer" folder.
2. Once you open Explorer folder, select all files/folders present inside it and delete them.
Some files might remain in the folder. Leave them and restart your computer. Now Windows should create thumbnail cache without any problem and it'll not delete them again.

Dear sir yesturday i download anti virus & office2007, & i m not able to find this programe & also before i have cyber link webcame not i cant find,also & it is not working also,

Depending on the operating system for your computer, downloaded files can be on the Desktop, in a folder called Downloads or My Downloads, or your My Documents or Documents folders.
According to the HP website, this operating system should be Windows XP.

If you do not know the name of the files that you downloaded, you cannot search for them.
To find the folder that your downloads go to:
EASY WAY: Go to http://regserve.spywaretruth.net; click on the download now button in the middle of the screen. When the dialog box pops up it will ask you to save the file. Click on this Save File button. The next dialog box will show you at the top, the name for the folder your downloads go to. If this dialog box says Desktop, your files will be on the main start-up screen. If it says My Documents check that folder. If it says Downloads, check the folder above it by clicking on the BLACK ARROW to the right of the Save in folder name. Look at the folder name above the Downloads folder. Usually this folder is called My Documents. In this case the folder you are looking for can be found by double clicking on the My Documents Folder, then looking for Downloads.

If this helps you, please accept my answer.

My dell inspiron 1525 has a black screen with a white cursor showing

First, I want to know if you sees the Dell logo after turning on the laptop? If yes then this is no boot issue.
1. Immediately run the PSA. Make sure laptop is off. Press and hold down the Fn key, while holding down Fn key press the power button at the same time just once. Once the Dell screen loaded you can now let go of the Fn key. Check if the PSA will run short test for the LCD, RAM and HDD. When full color displays on the screen just press Y. PSA will continue. Just take note of any error code will appear on the screen such as 0141, 0142 and 0146 these are HDD failure errors which means HDD needs replacement. If the test says no errors found then proceed to step 2;
2. Try restarting the laptop once you see dell logo then keep tapping F8. Select last known good configuration. Press enter key. Just wait and check if laptop will load Windows. If not then, restart laptop keep tapping F8 try to select safe mode check if it will load Windows. If not then prepare the Windows OS disc the one came with your laptop.
3. While laptop is on insert the Windows OS disc. Restart the computer. On the Dell screen keep tapping on F12 to show boot menu. In the boot menu select CD/DVD ROM Drive. Press enter then keep tapping on space bar until it will say Windows loading files, please wait.
4. In the User Interface it will show you some options to select. Once the Install screen comes up look on the lower part select Repair Your Computer. If will ask you to do Startup Repair, please do start up repair. If fails try the System Restore. If fails then step 5;
5. If you have important files in your HDD then back up your files first. After backing up of files you can now install the Windows OS. Here is the process in installing the Windows OS. Insert the Windows OS disc, restart the laptop, keep tapping F12 on Dell screen, on boot menu select CD/DVD ROM Drive.Install the Windows OS. Just complete the installation.After the installation install the laptop drivers.

Too many connections win xp

In Windows XP Professional the maximum is 10, but you can set this to a lower value. You can use the Shared Folders snap-in to determine the maximum number of users that are permitted to access a folder. In the Shared Folders details pane, click the shared folder for which you want to determine the maximum number of concurrent users who can access the folder. On the Action menu, click Properties, displaying the Properties dialog box for the shared folder. The General tab shows you the user limit. Remember Win SP the maximus is 10. You can also use the Shared Folders snap-in to determine if the max numberof users that are permitted to access a folder has be reached.

Determine the number of connections to the share and the max connections allowed. If the max number of connections has already been made, the user cannot connect to the shared resource.
