Sansa sandisk is freezing up and not recognized on comp

4gig sandisk freezes up when turn on and my comp does not recognize it some times its dont even turn off plz help my unknowing mind my fuze has frozen up and won't play any music i have downloaded. it will still play the radio. it won't go to the home screen, it has some weird picture on the display

Freezing / no recognition by computer

It sounds like your computer is trying to read your removeable storage...rename them and that should solve your problems..make sure you dont have any printer anything connected when you are renaming them

My computer doesn't recognize my Sansa E200

Make sure player's usb menu is set to MSC, so computer will recognize it. Not sure why, but sometimes it helps to try another usb port on the computer. Good luck.
