I have an AveoCap, and it works swimmingly. However, when I record a "capture," the clips aren't sent anywhere! I've tried every directory in my laptop, changed the "set capture file folder" a million times....nothing. Help?

same problem with my NEC Versa S5500 AveoCap. When i clicked on it, "you have no video capture device" appeared.
Comment by Fennec, posted on Jan 05, 2008
Yup - I have a NEC Versa S3300 with built-in webcam with AveoCap / Aveo Cam STI, running on Vista Home.
Since I updated Windows and install some software, my webcam regularly 'crash' and is not recognized anymore by any application. I have to restart my computer to have the Webcam usable again.
Any solution (software or hardware) is welcome...

I have purchased an NEC Versa S3200 and have the same problem.
Manual says there should be an Icon to AveoCap but none present.
Seems not to be loaded at all.
