Re: lineage2 critical error problem
Is it the first time that you will play linage 2? if yes, try to check if your video card is directx 8 compatible... make sure you have a geforce 6 series or higher video card to play the game. Also make sure that you have the latest video card drivers... update your video card installation. If you have no video card at all and you are running internal graphics chip. You may not be able to play the game. Get yourself at least a Geforce 6 series card. I sure hope this helps
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Direct3D is a component of Microsoft's DirectX graphics software and is one of the more commonly used graphics accelerators in PC gaming. Of course, before you can enjoy the benefits of Direct3D acceleration, you need to have that particular component enabled in DirectX. Fortunately for your gaming needs, enabling Direct3D acceleration is not an overly complicated process, and can be achieved in a matter of moments. Open the "Start" menu and type "dxdiag" into the Windows Live search box, then press "Enter." This will bring up the "DirectX Diagnostics" dialog box. Click the "Display" tab. Locate the "Direct3D Acceleration" entry. Click the "Enable" option next to the Direct3D entry. This will turn on Direct3D acceleration. You may need to restart your computer to make the changes effective. Hope this helps. http://www.microsoft.com/games/en-us/aboutgfw/pages/directx.aspxhttp://ati-catalyst-drivers.en.softonic.com/Optimise your ATi graphics card's performance b> http://download.cnet.com/3dmark2001/3000-2121_4-10056689.html
Try this 1.Go into DXDIAG 2.Go to DISPLAY 3.See if Direct3D Acceleration is ENABLED. 4. Finally make sure that you have the latest video drivers installed @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ It is not as simple as just downloading a driver,. Need to know what the name of your graphics card
Try this, and let me know what happens. Go to start>run. In your run box type "dxdiag" without the quotes. When it opens up, click on the displat tab at the top. On the left hand side you'll see DirectX features. Make sure the DirecDraw Acceleration , Direct3D Acceleration, and the AGP Texture Acceleration is enabled. You might have something a little different depending on pc configuration but make sure everything in that category is enabled. You can test them if you like. There are buttons on the right to test them. If not enabled, enable them, click on save all information and exit. Try your game again. If this solves your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If it did not, do not rate yet. Just add a comment and let me know what happened. I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks issac.
Click Start, click Run, type dxdiag, and then click OK.
Click the Display tab. In the DirectX Features area, make sure that DirectDraw Acceleration and Direct3D Acceleration are enabled.
Windows Vista automatically enables DirectDraw Acceleration and Direct
3D Acceleration if these features are supported by the display device
and by the driver.
If either feature is disabled, click Enable next to the disabled feature.
Click OK when you are prompted.
If multiple video adaptors are installed on the computer, repeat steps 2 through 4 on each Display tab.
Click Exit to close the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
If this does not fix it then Tell us the game details - name etc:
