I turn the camera on, it cuts off immediately. I have charged the battery for 5 days. I can't figure out the problem. Jessica

I had the same problem. Thought it was the battery so bought a new one (with great difficulty) but the problem still persisted. I was using an original kodak AC charger. As soon as I took the USB plug and put it into the computer then it worked fine. This meant the charger was not working and therefore the battery was flat all the time.

I have purchased two V1073 and I had the same problem. I suspect that is the reason why I'm seeing a lot of refurbished amount of these cameras on eBay. I'm still looking for the reason, and Kodak is not too helpful.

Battery won't stay charged

If the recharageable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

My camera wont stay on it bleeps once then turns off

That sounds like your battery could be dead/not hold a charge. If you've charged your battery already and your camera still won't stay off and turns off right away, it's time to purchase a new battery for your Samsung TL105.

You can purchase replacement batteries quite cheap here:

Won't stay running

I am guessing that you put in a new battery drove it for a day at most and went out the next day and it wont start. Well if this is true then you will need an alternator, your battery is not being charged. Your car can start a run without this but you wouldn't get that far and eazy way to figure this out is either charge your battery or have a friend jump, be sure to let it charge for 3-5 min. before trying to start.
If it starts than remove the jumper cables and let the car tun for another 2-3 min and turn it off. If you cant restart it than you will need a new alternator

Camera on for 5 seconds red flashing light then turns off

that definitely sounds like a battery problem.

when you charged the battery, did the light stay red, and then turn green when it was finished?

if it flashed red, try this:

MATERIALS: 9 volt battery, 2 pieces of wire the same length, casio battery

DIRECTIONS: connect the + sides of each battery with a wire, and the - sides of each battery with another wire. [I just held them there, but maybe you can tape them if you're having trouble.] Hold it for 30 seconds. Then try charging it. If it doesn't work keep trying it until it does. TRUST ME! It took me 5 times to do it effectively.

If your battery has gone too long without charging, sometimes it won't charge correctly any more. So do this.. IDK why it works, but it did for me!

Camera will not charge the battery

Well. Ive got the same problem only ive gone thru 3 batteries trying to figure out what the problem is. When i plug it in to charge the light turns red , then within 5 sec's turns green. It stays green but never charges the battery. After 24 hours, its still a dead battery. Im just assuming since its 5 years old that the internal charger is shot. Looking for a new camera at this time.
