The tv will not turn on and stay on. All the fuses look ok. All I hear is a clicking noise when I press the power button. One time when I turned the TV on, the red light on the front panel came on for about 1 sec then turned off. I have unplugged the TV from the wall numerous times but nothing is working.

Prius2 is not powering up after one person swapped ower polarityof battery while changing it. We changed Big fuse at the front of the car and couple of small fuses. Now when pressing power button we have engine light and power button orange light fore just one sec. After it just stays dead. While pressing power button you can hear couple relays clicking for a sec and dc to dc giving hi frequency noise for the same amount of time. Help us please. This prius was manufactured in 2003. Hi, TV needs lamp replacement as existing lamp got weak or has been reached to end of its working life, please note that lamp is not dead or broken so that is why lamp lit is not lit at tv front. Hope these info will help you. Thanks.
You have a bad color wheel. The color wheel is located in front of the lamp, as the light shines through it as it spins. It is made up of different colored segments of glass, and one of the segments has came loose and causing the vibrating humming noise. The reason I know it isn't a fan is because the fans will continue to run for about 30 seconds after the set is powered off. The click you hear is the relay cutting off the fans. The color wheel cuts off as soon as you press the power button to cut the set off. I've replaced many of these at our shop for the same problem.
Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast. But if you don't hear any strange noises,tv is around 6000 hrs,2-4 yrs it could be time to replace the lamp. The lamp you need is XL2100 you can find it here http://www.discount-merchant.com/Sony-XL-2100U-TV-Lamp-p/sony_xl-2100u_replacement_lamp.htm?Click=48173 .Have a blessed one!
The clicking noise that you are hearing is actually the power relay. Normal operation by either the remote or the power button on the front panel, you would normally hear a soft click just after the press of the power buttons to turn the unit on or off. When you initially plug the unit in to power, you will hear the same click noise. Being that you are hearing it all the time indicates a failed relay. TV's now a days, or at least ones built during the last 15 - 20 years have different Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). There are PCB's for power (which youre dealing with now), sound, video and so on. The PCB that you need to repair your clicking issue will run you about 80 U.S. dollars for the part plus the average going rate for repair from a qualified service tech. You could purchase the part from Thompson Consumer Products repair and fix it yourself, but be aware, there will be no warranty on the part itself unless an authorized tech does the work. Located on this PCB is the power on/off relay, fuse, usually 4-5 connectors for power to different PCB's (depending on model and features). Now depending on how old the TV actually is, you may want to invest in a newr set, the reason why I say that is, is because the new power unit may and can overload the other boards and cause damage to them and now you have a new problem to deal with( along with more money being tossed down a hole.
hello..i think you have very big problems inside on you're TV you need a Electronics Technician to see inside the real problem.my tips is located in Power Supply Regulator..Can i know what kind TV Model???thanks
Generally, if a Plasma Tv is not coming out of standby, it means either the main board is faulty (most likely case) or Power Supply Board is not giving enough power to Main board to switch on the TV. In your case, I think it's the main board (aka Motherboard). Sometimes it's hard to tell to whether ceremic fuses are blown off by looking at them, so it's best to check with a multimeter. Check the fuses in the PSU and also whether it's outputing correct voltages. Also, can you hear a clicking noise right after you've switched on the TV or pressed the power button in the remote to make the Tv go from standby to ON. A clicking noise means one of the boards is shorting out. In your case, I don't think you'd hear a shorting out clicking noise, and I think replacing the Main board will get you out of standby.
Take off back cover. The problem power board is to the right of the
board where the power plug feeds into the TV. There is a large white
fuse right bend the power plug. With a meter it read ok; about 8 inches
deeper into the TV on that board was the resister next to two fuses. My
4 amp 125 volt fuse did not read on my meter. After replacing, it
