SOURCE: Glo-Warm Wall Gas Wall-heater parts...

We had a problem keeping the pilot light to stay on, and this site recommended that it could possibly be the thermocoupler that was causing our problems also. We ordered the thermocouple, put it on,hooked it back up and it worked great! Thank you so much.

SOURCE: Dayton Infrared natural gas heater ignition/flame sensor

Yes, the flame sensor is part of the intermittent pilot assembly. Check the following: make sure all grounding wires are secure and no corrosion is built up on them. Clean or replace the pilot assembly, also clean out the orifice with a very small drill. Make sure the sensor is in the flame and make sure the pilot tube is not leaking gas reducing the gas pressure at the pilot.

If it continues, you will have to replace the ignition control.

SOURCE: No Heat-Inducer motor doesn't start ?..humming noise only..warm..

Bad inducer motor most likely. Check the leads and plug. If it just homms, it is stuck. Check to see if the drain hoses are free of moisture. Can you get to the shaft to spin it to see if it is free?

SOURCE: Burner flame going out on windy days on Coleman Evcon LP furnace

This sounds like a bad heat exchanger. It is possible that you do not see the crack because the crack is closed when the heat exchanger is cold (or room temp). Allow the furnace to heat up, this will allow the expansion of the crack. Turn the power off and examine the heat exchanger while it is still hot.

SOURCE: How do I clean a flame sensor on a 1993 Lennox

You can sand the flame sensor but it sounds like another problem. Sounds like a limit switch or something in the control circuit, You need to have a service tech look at this. Ask for free estimate on repair. I have worked on hundreds of these units and they are sometimes tricky to work on. Lenox has come up with new controls for the whisper heat furnace to replace the old ones. If the flame sensor is bad the unit will try to light a few times and lock out and you ahve to kull power to the furnace to reset. If this is whats happening clean the sensor nd you should be ok If not you need help from a service tech.Rus

630 Eurosit 0630545 ventless fireplace

It is possible that your 630 Eurosit 0630545 needs a deep cleaning or a replacement part. The loud poof sound could be caused by a buildup of dirt and debris in the burner or a faulty part. You should contact a qualified technician to inspect the unit and determine the cause of the issue.

My heater has sit630 eurosit model # o630545 gas valve and it want light it's getting propane to the vavle but it's not coming out for the burner or pilet

Could possibly be clogged up. Try using compressed air to unstop. Lint or a cobweb can easily hinder the lighting of the pilot.

My rheem conquest 80 furnace comes on and 5 seconds later the gas goes off, it just keeps trying to come on.

This typically sounds like a flame sensor issue. Now, just so we are on the same page, the flame sensor( flame rod), its the rod that is opposite of the ignitor. Now that we have confirmed that, try cleaning the rod with some fine sand paper, nothing too gritty. the goal here is to try to clean any carbon buildup on the sensor that has created all these years of being directly in front of the flame. carefully. So give it a good cleaning to make it look new again but care not to clean too hard so you don't break it. Its best to take the flame rod out and do it and re-install it. If that does't work, try replacing the flame rod. The controller isn't getting any signal back from the flame sensor signifying flame is present. Try this first. Always turn power off when working on electrical equipment.

630 Eurosit 0630535 gas fireplace pilot wouldn't stay on what needs replaced...

I'm in the middle of this right now. Y'all don't know what you're talking about. The thermocouple you can buy at the local hardware store has a different thread (fine) from the Eurosit TC (coarse) and doesn't fit. Now I'm trying to source a Eurosit TC. Any suggestions?

MAYTAG GAS DRYER MODEL SDG305DAWW. THE IGNIGHTER GLOWS BUT DO NOT REVEIVE A FLAME

Your igniter is working fine. The problem is the flame sensor needs to be replaced. The flame sensor is a safety feature. If it doesn't detect heat from the igniter it prevents the gas from flowing. A new flame sensor will cost about 30 - 35 dollars. You can buy on online here
