Question about HP ScanJet 2300C Flatbed Scanner

Iam facing working problems with my scanjet 2300c ver.1 software

The software does not respond after start up.......i have reinstalled the software about 5-6 times but the problem still persists......

Hello,
Please make sure that the driver is the latest for your scanner, and that the version you are using is the right one. If not, you can download the driver from HP support and driver website

The problem is that your HP Director software needs to be reinstalled? Run the setup program and when the splash screen comes up, choose the option that says "Add another device"

Hp scanjet2300c scans have a yellow tint and black patches.


The best way to check if the scanner is okay or not is by installing on another computer. First try B&W, then try color. IF it works may be your OS or driver (of the old comp) is corrupted.
