Question about Acer AL1716 17" LCD Monitor
LCD monitors can't be degaussed. Actually the problem seems to be in the plug to the computer. Moving it the wire at the plug corrects it!?

You didn't say whether the plug came out of the monitor or the PC!
If the monitor, look under the back side of the stand, and see if you can find a jack.
If the PC, look at the back of the computer, and locate a similarly colored jack, usually low down on a tower case, and plug it into the same colored jack.
Cheers!

While I was moving my monitor, the monitor to computer plug came out of the back to the monitor. I didn't realize it was loose. When I plugged it back in, the screen was pinkish. I tried adjusting the color but nothing worked. I tried using the ACER installation disk, all the auto resets and default setting resets, fix it by using the computer's monitor troubleshooting help guide book, etc. Nothing worked. Can you help me?
