According to the manager of Security Programs at Microsoft, there is _NO_ way to completely "remove" a computer-virus -- you just don't know "where" the virus has planted itself, and what other "settings" it may have changed.
So, backup your data (to CD/DVD-writable or to USB-memory-stick), and reinstall Windows, choosing to "format" the disk-drive, and then run Windows Update to get all the required security updates. Install an anti-virus solution, and restore your data.

Did you run a bios updateand has an anti virus programme installed? If you did the bios is corrupt and stopping the system from running.
I would remove the RAM and Hard drive. Power up without the battery and look for error messages on the screen. Ensure the RAM is correct and place one strip in at a time.

Tips how to remove a virus that can not be handled Anti-virus

There is a very powerful tips to remove the virus, if the various Anti Virus that we use entirely powerless against it (probably only detect, but can not delete it). To do this would require a Bootable CD that contains a minimum of the File Manager program, such as Ultimate Boot CD, BartPE, and the like. Some programs are DOS-based and others are windows based. Or we could use a Linux Live CD, like Knoppix, Ubuntu Live CD and others. In General, the following steps:
  1. Find the location of the virus, especially the origin of the virus is running on your computer (the host)
  2. Once obtained, note (note) information such as file size, date (although the virus can change the size and date, but most always the same size and date. Can find similar files and recorded their location.
  3. Once obtained, use one of the Bootable CD and restart the computer to boot from a CD (you might need his first set its BIOS to first boot the CD / DVD-ROM).
  4. Open the file manager program, which is available. If using windows NT, XP or above, make sure the program supports reading NTFS format
  5. Find the file / virus and delete or if still in doubt, just rename from *. exe to *. VRS example. To convince, use the search facility to find files with the same size or nearly the same date. If found , you can rename it.
  6. Back restart the computer and check again

Extremely slow running

Slow computer If you have a virus program installed, it is most likely is running a scan on your hard disk. It can slow down your computer especially if you have a large hard drive. After scanning is completed then the computer will be faster.
To make your computer (hard disk) lean and mean, uninstall any programs you do not use.
Also you need to maintain your hard disk by running Disk Cleanup this will remove old temp files and old compressed files etc.
This will reduce the number of files the virus scanner has to scan. Plus running Defrag. this makes your files contiguous so the system can access files off the hard drive quicker because it does not work as hard.. Disk Cleanup and Defrag should be carried out at least once a month.
If you have 512Mb of RAM installed then installing more RAM will speed up your computer. After installing your graphics card, you may need to disable the built-in graphics card in the BIOS for the new graphics card to work properly.

My laptop has problem when I turn it on then it suddenly shut down so what is the problem? that's the big problem.

Sounds like it could be a RAM problem. If you have more than one RAM chip in your computer remove one and try the computer again. If it works then either the RAM chip that you removed has failed or the RAM slot it goes is has. Shut down the computer and take the working RAM chip and place in the empty slot to see if the computer boots up. This will tell you then if it's the chip or the slot. If the computer doesn't boot up, just to make sure it's the RAM slot, take the other piece of RAM and place in the other slot and try to boot up the computer.

Computer suddenly shut down and won't restart

This type of shutdown problem occurs mainly due to following few reasons, 1) SMPS problem 2) RAM failure 3) Over heated mother board chip(s) or seldom over heated CPU 4) Virus or worm problem or OS problem. 5) Over heated power cords
Do the following steps one by one (to detect the exact source of problem) First replace the CMOS battery, change SMPS, check power cord, run the PC directly (without UPS), remove the data cable from hdd. if it runs well then set the data cable with hdd, if it does not work then definitely there is mother board/cpu problem. And if it creates same problem after fitting the data cable - change the hdd or format hdd and reinstall os. your problem would be solved.

My computer has a virus I can't remove

Try and boot into windows safe mode by pressing the F8 key before windows loads and then try running the browser and check if it crashes. Perform the same process by scanning with an anti virus and see what happens. You might have two problems, either the RAM the actual memory is bust or something in the OS has gone really wrong and got the OS unstable. Try the safe mode test to confirm.
