Are you here to get network lock code or
phone(security) lock code? If you need to unlock your Nokia N73 from its
security lock then use default codes like 0000 or 12345. If your want to
unlock your Nokia N73 from its network lock then use unlock code to do
so. Contact your service provider to get it. If they failed to provide
the code you can get it from online providers itself. Get the code from
the site Onlinegsmunlock.com ,and you can unlock it yourself using unlocking instructions which is given in the site itself.
The problem of your Nokia N73 is very common. Try to change your battery to anew. If you have already reset to factory settings, and still the same, all you have to do is to bring your phone to Nokia Care Centre near you to further check the software error.
Call you Service Provider and find out if there is a common problem with the particular model and its battery going flat, as this happends with many Nokia N95s. There could be a fault with your battery,
or what u consider small usage could actually just be the expected battery life for the phone, confirm this in the Manual.
The phone software is corrupted.needs to be formatted.problem wont persist after formatting.before formatting make sure that all the necessary contacts and other information are saved in the memory card.just to avoid data loss as a pre measure.i do hope this would help you out.
The default security code for Nokia is 12345 IMEI: 359568011016758 Master code: 4444376533 Close all applications on your phone. With your phone switched ON, remove the battery. Then remove the SIM card. Replace the battery without the SIM card and switch your phone on. Type in the security codes (any code) until the phone request the Master code, when it does, leave your phone still, don’t use it for 15 minutes, then type in the Master code. This is the code needed to reset the Security code, nothing else, and it’s for your phone only. If it does not request the Master code, your phone will have to be connected to a computer and an unlock box to restore the Security code.
12345 is a standard code and 00000, but if you change it and you have forgotten your unlock code, you'll just have to reformat it
key combination which is used to hard reset the phone (similar to
#*7370). It is useful in some cases, for example when the phone cannot
reboot. The trick is by switching off the phone then press and hold Call key (Green key) + * key + 3 key + power button for a couple of seconds
When updating software on Mobs, be sure to:
HAVE A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY INSERTED;
PUT IT ON GENERAL PROFILE;
TURN OFF YOUR PIN NUMBER;
CONNECT YOUR CHARGER TO YOUR MOB AND SWITCH IT ON;
DO NOT-----DO NOT---- TOUCH YOUR PHONE WHILE THE UPDATE IS GOING ON;
THIS CAN TAKE 30 MINUTES OR MORE.
And obviously don't unplug the phone from the PC.
Be patient, you may have to do a restart or two on your mob afterwards. Even remove the battery to get it going again. But give it plenty of time.
It is also wise not to use your PC while updating software, just in case the PC freezes.
If the PC freezes during an update, you're up the creek without a paddle...
I did an update on a Sony Eric 810i it took nearly two hours.
