How to set factory alarm without remote, togle switch enabled

I have a 1993 nissan pathfinder, with a factory alarm system on it. There is a toggle switch on the center console. and a red light under the dash board that sometime blinks. I dont have a remote but I was wondering how to use the alarm without the remote. and how do I set the alarm.

    only about2 times now has the alarm went off. Both times were when I unlocked the door opened it and just walked away. But now I cant get the alarm or LED to turn on. But at the same time I am not able to lock the driver side door from the drivers side because the door lock mechanism is broke. But I can still lock the door with the button. Will that work or do I need to get the lock on the door fixed

Factory alarms are passive, if it is working it sets itself when u exit the car. u don't need the remote for the alarm to work if it has a factory system. if u want to test if it is working lock the car with the power lock button and leave the window down, reach inside the car and open the door from the inside handle, the alarm will sound if it is working, to disarm just lock and unlock driver door with the key..

I couldn't turn off the security alarm on my 1999 Pathfinder as I replaced the battery,
Solution: I read the solution here to disconnect the positive cable, open the driver's door, insert the key, then reconnected the positive cable, while honking, I turn the key to the left, to the right and to the left again while the door is still open. The honking stopped. Then I started the truck without a problem. Thank you for the hint.

How do I deactivate the alarm without the fob? The fob was lost and now we cannot start the car because the alarm is set.
ther should be a toggle switch by your left foot if it is a AFTERMARKET alarm system, turn key on and flip the switch 3 times. for a factory alarm are you sure that its because of the alarm or is the battery bad, if the battery is good just diconnect the battery and try again also you can pull the fuse for the RKE remote keyless entery and try that.

you may have a factory alarm system that has enabled when power was lost. Try unlock and lock using the pwr lock switch...it may or may not work!!

youre going to need to get a volt meter and have someone hold the key in the start posistion while someone else goes under the vehicle and test to see if there is voltage at the starters smaller wire. if there is, replace the starter.

Relays tipically have a diagram on them depicting which terminals are the switch and which are the signal try using jumper wires to the sensor terminals and listen for a click.
