·Turn on your cell phone. ·Go to the call log on your phone. This is may be
under your "Tools" or "Settings" folders or it may have its
own folder. ·Look for a selection on the screen for more
options or to erase information. Click the corresponding buttons. ·Select which recent recipients you wish to
delete from your cell phone's history. Select "Delete" or
"Erase." You will probably be prompted to confirm your choice.
Confirm the delete by hitting the appropriate button for "yes." ·Go to the following website and select your
manufacturer and model of cell phone if you are still having trouble deleting
recent recipients: http://www.recellular.com/recycling/data_eraser/default.asp. ·You will be able to read specific instructions
for your particular phone.
LG Rumor 2: Go to Menu>Tools & Settings>Settings>More>Security>enter the lock code(last 4 digits of the phone number if it hasn't been already changed by the user)>Erase/Reset>Erase Messages. Your text recipients will be erased but so will your messages.
Check your "messaging" application, in which you view your "inbox, outbox, saved, drafts". There should be options within that application that will allow to delete any recent txt messages. Hope this helps! Thanks.
That just deletes the messages. Thanks for trying though! I want to get
rid of the "recent recipient" list because there are people on there
that I don't send to anymore and there is no reason for them to be on
there as options. call me obsessive, I just like being tidy.
I am having the same problem. I just contacted my wireless provider and they were stomped!! They tried calling Samsung directly but they are closed on Sunday's. I will be calling tomorrow but I have a strong suspicion that because there is no prompt to delete the log that a "Master Rest" will have to occur. Be advised that if this is done, that log may be deleted but so sill EVERYTHING else that is not factory set. All data will be lost if that is done. So hopefully that won't have to occur.
