This is simple it is a 220 volt machine so you would need 2 hot wires one red and one black each one is 110 volts now you have a green wire that in the grown wire and then the white wire with is the neutral wire. So black to black, red to red, green to green and white to white./

from what you are describing it sounds like you are missing a couple wires somewhere or you do not know what you are looking for. The pressure switch, low oil switch motor starter coil, and overload relay should be wired in series to provide a control circuit for the motor starter. I would highly advise seeking the help of a certified electrician if you are not experienced in working with these machines. You can not only risk personal injury, but also damage a lot of expensive electrical item's real quick if it is not done correctly.

do you mean the safety release valve ,if its blowing off at a lower pressure it needs dismantling and cleaning the seats
