Xerox Phaser 6100 Fuser Error

I need help please. I have a Phaser 6100 with an error message that says Fuser Error Low Temp. I just replaced the fuser because it was giving me this message. Now with the new one I still get the message. How can I fix my printer.

Thanks,
Ashley

Try this,

Reset Fuser Life

  1. Using the control panel buttons scroll to Maintenance, press OK.
  2. Scroll to Check Others, press OK.
  3. Scroll to Fuser, press Reset

You may want to try removing and reseating the fuser. The AC connector sometimes does not line up well on that printer.

Then go through the steps of resetting it again.

Try reseating it again , then resetting.

If that doesnt work then you obviously need a service call.

    1. Firmly push down on the left corner of the replacement fuser to ensure adequate contact to the AC connector and that the fuser drive gears mesh. The boss or alignment pin in that corner should be clearly visible above the base of the fuser.

    1. Secure the rear left screw first. Next secure the opposite corner screw and the remaining 2 screws in any order.

Note: This sequence is critical for those fusers that do not easily align with the AC connector and drive gear.

This assures you are not hung up on the drive gear and that you seat the connector firmly.

Not hard for it to be just slightly off.

    PROBLEM:

A "Fuser Error Low Temperature" message is displayed on the control panel even after the Fuser is replaced with a new one.

Items highlighted in Yellow indicate important updates from the previous service bulletin.

    CAUSE:

Removing and reseating or, replacing the fuser can result in a misalignment of the AC connection or the deformation of the copper contacts within the Switch AC connector (PL9.22.3) that delivers power from the printer to the Fuser (Fig.1 and Fig.2). This prevents sufficient AC power from reaching the fuser which in turn prevents the heat lamp from reaching its required temperature.

You will have to replace the fuser. Call 1-800-835-6100 and follow the prompts to purchase parts. It isnt real expensive. Just make sure you still don't have some warranty left on the parts.

You will need to replace the fuser. The heating element or one of the thermistors have failed.
You can call 1-800-835-6100 to order that, I do not think it is very expensive. If it is in warranty they will just replace it.

Engine fuser low heat error on my xerox phaser 3500

You will need to replace the fuser.
You may want to look and see if you just have a piece of paper wrapped around the roll, but most likely the heating element has gone bad or one of the thermistors have failed.
Call 1-800-835-6100 and tell them the model number, and if it is a 120 volt or 220 volt fuser.

PRINTER XEROX 3100MFPX FUSUR TEMP PROBLEM

Most likely you have had a fuser failure. It could possibly be the fuser and power supply board.
If the fuser rolls melted together, I would replace both, if you can remove the fuser and are able to rotate the gear, then just the fuser needs replaced.
Call 1-800-835-6100. They can take care of what you need.
