    please help

Just bought one of these on sale cause it looked clever. Too clever by half it would seem - cursor only moves in horizontal direction, no vertical movement!

Tried on Mac and PC, same result. Seems like cheap junk at this point. I opened it and found optical chip OM02, spec here:

when I have time I may examine the solder pathways to see if there's been an assembly defect. Otherwise it's e-waste.

Connects and clicks just doesnt move the curser

I presume you can see the motion sensing red LED or laser beam shining under the mouse. If not, that has gone bad, and it would probably be more economical to replace the mouse than to attempt a repair.

If the light is on under the mouse, try cleaning the lenses (both LED and photoreceptor) with a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Don't scrub, just wipe the optics gently until clean.

My mini wireless optical mouse will not pair

I think you are facing pairing problem, solution is here, First of all please understand ‘what is pairing’ Pairing is theprocess of coordinating your mouse's transmitter with your mouse's receiver. Itrequires both parts to operate on the same frequencies, usually by using thesame identification code. Pairing takes place to try to eliminate interference. Some devices automatically pair both devices at start up; others need to bemanually paired. Step 1. Plug in RF DONGLE into USB port, Step 2. Put the batteriesin mouse (in right direction, see batteries. Direction symbols in the battery compartment +/- signs) andplace the batteries. Cover, Now you can see thered light glowing on the bottom of the mouse, now your mouse is ready topairing There is two buttons for pairing the mouse BUTTON 1 – this on the RF DONGLE, top/up side BUTTON 2 - this is at the bottom of the wireless mouse, NOTE- after pressing button-1, one time, your RF DONGLE willbe ON SERCH MODE for 7 seconds, Step 3, now press BUTTON 1, one time, and move the mouse, ifmouse curser is not moving then press BUTTON 2 one time – now defiantly yourmouse will work, If you need any other technical support for GMAX, products please contact satish kumar (countryhead gmax technologies)

Hi. My Belkin Mini-Wireless Optical Mouse has stopped working. The batteries are fresh but no curser working - any ideas? Rgds

Please connect the mouse to another computer to rule out if the device has failed. If it works on another system you may be dealing with a messed up driver. Please comment this posted on your test results to receive the best answer.

M00117-MB right click button doesn't work

My problem is with the left click. I buy there mouses because they're cheap, but I suspect foulplay: Planned obsolescence! They always start to break down after a while for apparently no reason and then you're off looking for a new mouse, but then again I could wrong, maybe they're just generally not built to last or for heavy usage.

Next time I'm doing my homework on which companies make quality mouses so I won't have to keep replacing them - I suggest the OP and others who have problems with Sakar do the same.

My computer does not accept the new mouse model no. M00117-MB. Can you help me?

If your computer does not have a USB port on the front or back, you will need to purchase a USB-to-PS2 adapter. This is an example of one:

That may not be the best price or only place to get it, only an example. This will connect the USB cable of your mouse to the PS/2 port on the back of your computer.
