Question about Televison & Video
Hi u can convert and burn all ur avi files with a program called "ConvertXtoDVD". The only thing you have to do is to add avi file and hit the convert button. You can go into settings and change a bunch of things to your likings. I can't help you though with subtitles, but i know there is an option for it in settings. For the size,it all depends on your avi file size, for example an avi size 640x464 give me a cropped image too, but i have a zoom feature on my dvd that fix it. If you have an avi file size 624x352, that will give you a perfect letterbox(black line on top and bottom of your screen) image. I'm pretty sure you can fiddle with ConvetXtoDVD to fix the cropping.... and this one is the alternate solution for u... Just go to divx.com and download the codec package, and then just open the file in windows media player and you should be good to go. If you have downloaded the divx codec, and it still won?t play then go and google xvid, and download its codec. It should work then. As for playing the .avi on your dvd player, if you have nero 5.5, you should be able to make a VCD, which your dvd player should be able to play.... thank u rate me fixya
