Hows the PS2 hooked up ? RCA cables? Make sure you have the red and white cables plugged in as well as the yellow.

I hooked up our Onkyo TX-SR607 system a few weeks ago and have watched several movies, but now I cannot get the Hitahci PH35811 TV to sync up to get video. I get audio, but no picture when we try to watch...

Are you routing the video into your reciver from the dvd player? If so route the video directly into your tv. It won't fix the initial problem but you will get picture and sound to watch dvd movies.

My ps2 is broken

okay, are you saying you can't watch DvDs ? I would highly recomend not watching DvD's on PS2, especially HD movies. The PS2 does not have the hardrive to read most movies perfectly.

Toshiba CF36G40 36" TV (picture snowy)

you have a bad tuner you can replace it or use vcr if you still have one around. hook it up with av cable like your ps2 and hook your cable to it and use it to change channels. If you want to replace the tuner it will require soldering and you will have to order it somewhere. i would try partsore.com. The tuner is the metal can the cable goes into inside the tv.
