Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Hi folks, could someone please tell me how to find ones password to log on to Windows xp home edition. Somehow I've been locked out. It's been so long since I used it, I've completely forgotten it.
As far as I know , there are two main methods to solve the windows password problem as follows:
Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type Administrator (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from Control Panel - User Accounts.
Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.
Windows password Recovery software:
for example:Windows Password Recovery It is easy and convenient to use.

Download Astrumi (Linux Live CD), as it has an option to remove or change the SAM file (password) in Wind0z3, so no 3 weeks of brute-force dictionary attack rainbow table cracking! SAMInside, Brutus and l0phtcr4ck are also good options (my favorite is l0phtcr4ck, as it can crack over the local subnet).

There is a way to reset windows password without erasing anything.
Follow the instructions:
1.Free download the iso file : http://www.resetwindowspassword.com
2.Burn it to a disk to create the boot disk, that simple.
3.Configure your pc or laptop to boot in the cd drive,
4.Insert the CD, reboot from CD drive, and then just follow the process of instruction. A few steps later, admin password would be cleared
Took about 5 minutes for the whole process.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
