Question about Kenmore Refrigerators
I find the ice in the bottom shelf
Hi: Without any information on the style of the fridge I will assume this is a top freezer as the problem is common with these. Your defrost drain is plugged and the water has no where else to go. If this is in the freezer it means your ice maker is cracked or out of level. If you need more help please give me (us) more information on your ref. Model number and style. Good luck, Jeff

Chances are you have a bad seal around the door if it's leaking from the inside which causes the ice to form as well, or if it's leaking from under the freezer you lave a bad heating element that evaporates the water collected in the pan under the freezer or you have a clogged hose that goes to the pan under the freezer which also causes the ice to form because the water has no place to go. Defrost and try to find a way to blow out the hose that goes from your freezer to the pan under the freezer and that should take care of your problem.
