Ur tv some how causes HDMI 1 and 2 port hubs link together so changes back and fourth 1 or 2 HDMI hubs will not a difference.Ur tv have 4 HDMI hub ports wright?Tries not to used HDMI hub ports as like HDMI ports like 1,2,3,4 to as in sequences.Tries used like 1 and 4,2 and 4,3 and 1 as skips sequences might work for ur tv.Tries to hook up the PS3 system as the old format hook up same hook as PS2 format like used the PS station old RCA AV cable hook up.Then that should not causes conflict at all because now tv have two difference kind of format hook up.
Sounds like the "channel" you are trying to watch on is not the one it's plugged into, or a faulty lead. check the connection from the sky box to the tv, and select the av or hdmi channel that it is plugged into on the tv. check the lead by swapping it for a known good one, for example from a dvd or ps3, but unplug from the dvd/ps3 and plug into the sky box(make sure that all the units are powered off when swapping leads) and try on the channel you normally watch/use the dvd/ps3. If you suspect the sky is at fault, press menu on the sky remote and then flick through all the av/hdmi channels until you find the menu, then try to reinstall/retune the sky box. If that don't work phone sky......................
I am a sky engineer (not a subby)
the reason this does not come on straight away is because a Scart lead send power upto your telly when it is turned on. Telling the telly that this is what you want.
Unfortunately HDMI does not send power upto the telly. There are ways around this. ON Samsung, Panasonic and Lg tellys you can go into a secret menu and apply something called HOTEL MODE this allows you to change the av input so it would automatically come on your hdmi 1,2,3, etc
In your case follow my instructions below
go to the hdmi you are using for your Hd
on the sky remote
Press SELECT and GREEN until LED flashes twice.
Press HELP then SELECT and the LED will flash Twice. what this mean is when you press your Sky button, tv guide, services or interactive button to turn the sky on this will automatically change your av/source on your telly to the sky HD for you
you will have to use a component cable or optical lead from your ps3 to the jamo and sky hd to be connected via scart.
for best image, buy an HDMI CONNECTORS switch that will allow you to run many HDMI TO IT and from the switch you only need one to the tv so the jamo still output to the tv.
remember that you will have to get an automatic one so that it can select when you are using each element.
1. Turn ON TV
2. Connect PS3 to TV HDMI input
3. select TV HDMI input for PS3
4. turn OFF PS3 if it is ON
5. Press and hold the [I/O]Power button until the PS3 until you get the "HDMI Detected" message.
Also, this TV has a circuit that deactivates the HDMI if the rear cover is removed. It is possible the HDMI may have been turned OFF. This is reset in the service menu of the TV.
