Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
My sansa e280 rhapsody wont turn on it just says main image failed please switch to recovery mode. But underneath it after I switch to recovery mode and connect to my pc it says enter usb2.0 msd mode and underneath that is says SCSI cmd #75. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
Recovery mode is used to recover from a fatal error.
Follow these steps and youll be back in business.
Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted.
You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool.
- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds)
- Slide the hold switch into "hold" position.
- Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer.
Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted.
Best of Luck.
