Question about Kenmore 22422 Top Load Washer
I have a whirpool 90 series washing machine it was given to me by my parents. Ever since I moved it into my apartment it makes a very loud sound after the spin cycle. It almost sounds like a jake break on a semi. Someone said that maybe the shipping rod had not been removed. But as stated before this noise did not start until after I moved it from my parents house to mine. PLEASE HELP!?
Hi, Raise the lid and stick something into the hole to activate the lid switch. Start the washer in spin cycle and after 30 seconds or so, release the lid switch and see if the tub continues to turn and make the rumbling noise. It sounds to me like the block that holds the inner tub has gone bad.
Has nothing to do with the move but, might have just happened.
Please let me know if this is the case or if I can assist you further.
