Question about Blanco Classic Single Handle Faucet with Pull-Out Spray ....

Leaky Blanco Single Lever Kitchen Faucet with separate sprayer

I have the Blanco-Mix Harvest faucet.. I am confused as to whether I need two o rings between the cap and nut; a small one that fits up inside the cap and another larger one that fits on the bottom of the cap[next to the nut. Does anyone out there know. I think I need just one smaller o ring. Help My single lever Blanco faucet with pull out spray head has started leaking fron somewhere inside the spray handle; water runs down metal coil down to under my sink cabinet making a mess. Does this sound like a washer or "O ring" problem?

You can call or e-mail the company, if the faucet is the one in the picture it is a single cartdridge, turn of bith hot and cold water, take an allen wrench into the little plastic cover to remove the handle , unscrew the top cover or it might pop off, that there is either a large lock not or 3 screws holding down the cartdridge, take it out replace it put some faucet frease around all rubber gaskets then install it in the smae way it came out

Service a compression faucet:
  1. Turn off the water supply and open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure.
  2. Carefully pry off the trim cap with a small screwdriver or putty knife.
  3. Remove the locknut with an adjustable wrench, then lift the spindle out of the faucet.
  4. As needed, remove and replace the O-ring. Before reinstalling, coat the stem lightly with plumber's grease.
  5. As needed, remove the retaining screw and pry out the washer. Install an exact-replacement washer and tighten it.
  6. As needed, inspect the seat and replace if damaged.
  7. Install the valve and tighten, then reinstall the handle and test.
Repair a reverse-compression faucet:
  1. Turn off the water supply and open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure.
  2. Carefully pry off the trim cap with a small screwdriver and remove the handle screw. Unscrew the packing nut and lift out the stem assembly.
  3. As needed, pry out the washer under the packing nut and replace it.
  4. As needed, remove the seat washer and replace it with one that fits exactly. Rethread the spindle and washer back onto the stem, and reassemble the faucet.

Cartridge replacement

Should be able to order new one at any plumbing supply. Remove handle, then with pliers pull out old cartridge, and push in new one till it seats, place handle back on.

I have a blanco kitchen faucet that is about 5 years old. it seems to be leaking from inside the unit itself , problem is , trying to figure out how to get it apart to repair it.

behind the handle there should be an allen screw under a crome cap . once you reove the screw the upper metal ring should just unscrew then there are a series of o rings that can be replaced

good luck James

How do I remove the bonnet nut from a blanco 1-handle faucet (like their "classic" model?

If you mean the top faucet handle, there is a small round plastic cap. You need to remove this and then remove the grub screw, handle will then pull off. Hope this is what you meant, if not post again. Thanks Paul.

Our Blanco faucet has a side spray that doesn't work. There is no water when you squeeze the handle. How do you take it apart and what parts need to be replaced?

http://www.faucetdepot.com/pdfs/157-013-CR.pdf This link has a view of internal parts breakdown of this faucet. And it has a list of parts with their names.

I hope this will be of some help for you to disassemble.

You only need one small o-ring. If you put two of them it will not work properly and will mostlikely leak like crazy. If this helped please rate.
