Hi, Te first thing to look into is the 4" vent leading outside. Make sure it has no kinks and that it is cleaned all the way outside. Next thing to look into is the heating. Is this a gas or electric dryer?
Get me a model # please and I can look into this for you.

I have to dry my loads 3 and 4 times before they are dry

Most drying problems are with air flow if the clothes are actually getting dry after multiple cycles. Make sure the air flow is not obstructed by checking where the air comes out on the exterior of your home. The inside of the dryer may need to be cleaned out as well.

Kitchenaid KUDS01FL -Dishwasher - "clean" light wont stop flashing; cant start a new load

Hi,

The clean light usually will blink due to a failure to heat the water properly. This dishwasher looks for a temperature rise of the water during a heating cycle if it fails to see this rise for multiple cycles it may shut down and blink the clean light.
There are a few things to check before resetting the control.
-The unit not being level so both door switches do not make contact
- The sump plugged up so water is not pumping across the heater (see sump clean out below)
- Not enough water filling the dishwasher
- The heat element is not working
To reset the control use this key dance within 5 seconds press: HEATED DRY, NORMAL, HEATED DRY, NORMAL
This will cause you to enter the diagnosis cycle once this is finished or you hit cancel the control should be unlocked and ready to use.

Thank you !

Takes multiple cycles to dry normal load of clothes

Have the vent system from the back of the dryer to the outside of the house cleaned. If the dryer can't push air out, it can't bring air in, and the clothes won't dry. Another condition you might be seeing is moist lint developing around the gasket on the inside of the door. That's a sure sign the airstream is restricted somewhere.

Takes multiple cycles to dry one load

Clean the dryer vent all the way to the termination site and then clean inside the vent in the dryer. Make sure it is clean of lent. The blower assymebly can also become clogged as well but try the vent hose first. If it is completely clean and it's still haveing trouble, it could be the thermostat on the unit and it is not allowing the dryer to cycle properly.

Matag NeptuneDryer MD5500AWW - intermittent heat - not drying

this is joyce
It is as you guessed your sensor. it is usually located in door but some models are in back of machine on inside, go online download document papers go to maytag.com put in model# and then download your model # and it will show you where your sensor is located, it should be simple to replace. I had the same problem with my dryer.
I am glad you said you checked the dryer lines because if these get clogged up they will cause the dryer not to dry the clothes correctley. very smart....if you need me to help let me know.

thanks,

joyce

To make sure it is a vent problem ,Do one load without the vent hose attaching to the wall ,keep in mind that it may blow out some dust, you may want to cover the end of vent hose with a nylon stocking for just this ONE time. Now run this 1 cycle on a timed dry cycle at the highest mark...60, 70,etc.If the clothes are dry at the final stopping point than you know your vent is blocked.Or you pinched the vent hose closed. It only takes a small blockage to create alot of waiting time for dryer to end its cycle. The faster the air can get out of the dryer the faster it dries.
