Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
Wolfbyrdwolfbyrd@yahoo.com I have the same problem, which apparently happened after I installed Vista SP2 yesterday (may 29, 2009). I tried all the fixes listed on the internet( dos commands, disable UAC (which was already disabled), DEP setting is set to only work on Windows system files). I then did a system restore to the point prior to installing SP2 and lo and behold, all my Big Fish games work perfectly. I reinstalled SP2 and again they don't work. So again I restored my system and everything works again! Something in SP2 such as an included security update or something seems to be the culprit. For the time being I will not be installing SP2 again.
So, contact the vendor of the software, and tell them that it does not work with Vista after SP2. They will fix it.
