Question about Gateway FPD1975W 19" LCD Monitor
Everytime i turn my monitor on a box comes up and says No Signal and below that says RGB with a red green and blue background and after it says that the blue light turns orange i have tried unplugging and plugging in the vga cord and it still wont work what do i do im getting really frustrated and am about to throw my computer out the window
First you need to check the cable at both ends, inside and out. Make sure it is plugged in, to the proper connector and that there aren't any bents pins. Now put this monitor on another computer, a laptop will do. Does it come on now? If so then your video card in your machine is bad. If still bad then the monitor has lost it's signal input. This will have to be repaired by a pro. I repair these all the time and it's not as expensive as you might think.
